Moor Lakes
Big Moor (5Acres) and Little Moor (1 Acre) are beautiful mature gravel pits set in the sleepy Wiltshire village of Great Somerford and are available for you to book on an exclusive basis for up to 4 anglers. This fishery provides some of the best and most prolific carp fishing in the south west.
The stock is made up of well in excess of 300 carp consisting of both mirrors and common carp with a huge head of 20s to over 30lbs. The biggest fish currently reside in Little Moor but this is changing quickly as a carp in the main lake grew by 21lbs in just 20 months and managed the magical 30lb. All tactics work but they love boilies and pellets so give them plenty.
The village has pub and a shop and both are within walking distance.
The lakes are behind padlocked gates and otter fence giving you peace of mind to relax and enjoy your fishing. There is a toilet available for your exclusive use.
Bookings are available for 2 slots per week:
9am Monday to 4pm Thursday
9am Friday to 4pm Sunday
Each slot is on exclusive basis, costing £450 with a maximum of 4 anglers (including yourself) This is not a price per angler but for the entire group. A non-angler counts as one of your four.
If you wish to book both slots then can start at 9am Monday and finish 4pm Sunday. The whole week booking costs £900.

To book please first enquire stating your preferred dates. If available you'll be required to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit within 24hours to secure the booking. The remaining 50% is due at least 7 days prior to the start of your booking - failure to pay this balance within this time scale will result in the loss of both your deposit and booking. The gate code with directions and parking information will be sent out once full payment has been received. Finally please read the rules and make sure you're happy to stick to them prior to booking.
Its then time to enjoy some of the moth prolific carp fishing in the area either on your own or with friends.
